Chapter 6: The Romance of Tranquility

As time goes by, this is the last week of the long holiday, a week I wasn't realized it's another week of holiday previously. Besides, it's also time to go back to my "lovely" college in order to register for the coming semester's subjects. Before starting off,I took the camera along with my decision to go to the mysterious beach I heard from my new housemate - Kuala Linggi of Story-ful State of Malaysia (Melaka).

After registration for the subjects without having my new timetable along with the news about an extra holiday on next monday, again, me, Blackie, Dear Deer, as well as the camera started off to the destination.

"行きましょ~!(ikimasho/let's go)" I said.

Along the travel, I found an interesting structure where it's ceiling is timber-plank-ful, and Malaysia Marine Army Academy. Suddenly I felt excited when I saw the academy. What I think was the exciting life as an army student. You get to learn this, experience that, live together, work together, stay together, play together... Aww... Nice! A life I am seeking currently and still haven't reach.

Suddenly, Blackie asked for a fast left turn. While shocking, I turned unexpectedly, too. Luckily, I managed to make this turn perfectly. Turned into this narrow road, it feels like you are being in an animation made by 宫崎骏 (Hayao Miyazaki), walking on a road you wouldn't know what is at the end there.

While riding slowly on the road, FINALLY! I saw it!! SEA!!! BEACH!!! TREES!!! ROCKS!!! and... SHIP ON THE SEA!!!! WOW~

First thing to do... TAKE PHOTO~!! No matter how people there look at us while passing by. Hehe...

Wow! Every spot is a nice spot for photography. I didn't expect this beach could be this clean, especially the sand. Although the sea water is not as clear as Pulau Redang, at least it's cleaner than in Tanjung Tuan. Thinking of Tanjung Tuan, one word "Yucks~"

Continue. So I kept on doing my job, keeping every easy-to-found nice spot inside the memory card. At the end of the road, I also, unexpectedly, found an abandoned fort which I think could be a nice place for temporary accommodation if renovated and refurbished properly through an architect's hand. ^^

Also, not to mention the chalets there. Quite old, and some of them got some parts already look not so good. Anyway, this is just my comments made by looking them from outside. Maybe they look bad from outside but actually look fabulously elegant inside. Who knows?

After taken photos, we then took the road back home. During that time, Blackie wasn't feel that well (battery power low). After some time, I felt guilty to keep on asking it for the way home. So I decided to let it rest, and used my instinct to find our way home. While riding, I suddenly had an idea to take the photo of this nice weather and felt excited about it. So, I had my left hand holding Dear Deer, turned down window on my side, stretching my right hand with camera in my hand out the window and snapped some photos. This is a very dangerous technique. You need to make sure no vehicles coming from the other side, as well as no vehicles at your back, not to mention also the strength and flexibility of both of your hands. If anyone of you would like to try this technique, please be aware of these cautions. Anyway, I think I am not good at this yet, as this is my first time taking photo like that. Some of the photo tilted. Still, there is still one or two are good take.

Conclusion from a quick view in Kuala Linggi:
On that day, there was like a human-less beach. Since the sand is acceptably clean, I think it's a quite romantic place to have a nice dinner with your partner there while looking at the sun set with sea water reflecting the sun ray, sparkling like diamonds embedded on it. How to have a nice dinner there since the chalets are not 5 stars rated? think of yourself la~ ^^

This is quite a nice trip I have and it's done on my birthday. I think this is the first birthday present I gave to myself in my life. It looks quite pity as nobody gave me present and celebrated for me on my 20th birthday with me but i think it's okay because I am not used to receive gifts on my birthday and celebrate it nicely. So, don't pity on me. ^^
